Beautiful property right in the center of all the activity in Florence. The bathroom was huge and very well appointed. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable.

My experience was excellent. The rooms were exceptionally clean and well-maintained. The staff were very helpful; we requested to change our room because the one facing the street was noisy, and they immediately accommodated us with a new room. The next day, they followed up to ask if our new room was comfortable, which I appreciated. The hotel also offers WhatsApp service for guests, making communication easy. Additionally, they provide a valet service that allows guests to relax without worrying about parking. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a comfortable stay with attentive service!

We had one night that had quite a rowdy party for a wedding. It was very loud until about 2am, and we had a very early morning the next day. After speaking to the front desk manager, they took full responsibility for the unfortunate events and offered a full refund for that night. I was extremely pleased with the care and service I was given, and because of this, I would most certainly stay here again. If you are on the fence about booking at the Calimala, go for it!

What a staff! The best hotel staff I have ever seen. We had a small issue because of the photos displayed in our Booking.com reservation showing a desk space in the room and apparently not all rooms have this desk. As we were expecting it (my wife had work to do), we asked them if we could change rooms and they sorted out for us by upgrading our room! They did everything to make our stay be an absolute blast. Reserved restaurants, helped us with all our questions and recommended/reserved a truffle hunt + wine tasting in Tuscany that was the PEAK of our trip. I would not think to stay elsewhere whenever I'm back in Florence. Shoutout to Desiré, Lavinia, and the manager Angela! Thank you for everything! (I'm sorry if I forgot anyone's name)

1. City center location: short walking distance to all major sites in Florence. 2. Interior: aesthetics / design of the hotel is marvelous. Bathroom is wow. Room terrific. 3. Hospitality: staff is trying to help and assist for literally everything you need. They are very kind and you feel pampered all the time. 4. Scent: perfume-like scent in the hotel leaves the impression of luxury. 5. Cocktails: great bar in the lobby is a perfect spot for ending the day after sightseeing.

A beautiful stylish hotel right in the heart of Florence. The hotel team here are fantastic- really helpful, warm and friendly. I was visiting to celebrate my birthday and the lovely team arranged a great bottle of wine and chocolates as a surprise treat. Thank you! The decor is gorgeous- contemporary and fantastic artwork on the walks. Loved the Angel Rooftop Bar - Alessio, our lovely bar man was amazing - made us so welcome and was so friendly and fun. The front office team were great - kept in touch via WhatsApp - arranging our car parking, bar booking and gave us a free late checkout. Thank you to everyone at the hotel for such a lovely experience.

The location was excellent, everything was 5 minutes away, shopping, piazzas, Church and both the museums Uffizi & Academia. Breakfast was good but, we ended up having breakfast 2 days at the cafe round the corner which was brilliant. The staff is extremely helpful from the Bellboy to Front Desk. Special thanks to the Bar-Tender in the new wing, for some excellent cocktails and service.

We could not have been happier with our stay at Hotel Calimala. We added a second night stay at quite short notice and the staff were so helpful in securing us the same room. Communication with them was seamless. The room itself was stunning with a view of the Duomo. The location is perfect as you are in walking distance of most of the main attractions but it was super quiet. Our beds were incredibly comfy and it was lovely to come back after being in the heat as the air con was great! We loved the decoration, too. And a big shout out to the hotel staff who were so friendly and helpful.

This was our best stay in Italy! So happy to have stayed here, it is a very chic and modern hotel with all the bits and pieces. Feels like a 5 star experience, well priced and so central. Staff are lovely, rooms are immaculate, ans bar is a real vibe. We would stay here without hesitation next time we are in Florence and we are pleased to hear they are opening more locations across Italy. This is the place you want to stay, it is in a prime location and you will enjoy the stay as it hits all the marks 10/10.
